With All-Star weekend almost here, the NBA will have several All-Stars in action this Tuesday evening with seven games on the schedule. Here are a few NBA prop picks from Bovada (visit our Bovada Review), a top-rated sportsbook, that should bring you the best value for your buck.
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Tuesday, February 15, 2022 – 07:30 PM EST at Wells Fargo Center
Joel Embiid
The Philadelphia 76ers are a 1.5-point home underdog against the Boston Celtics as they wait for James Harden to make his team debut after the All-Star break following last week’s blockbuster trade. This leaves the 76ers a little shorthanded, but Joel Embiid has been on a tear and is currently the leader in the NBA MVP race with +150 odds at Bovada.
Prop Analysis
Embiid is coming off a monster game against Cleveland where he had a triple-double with 40 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. It was only the second time this season he had a game with more than seven assists, but he has hit 14 rebounds 11 times, and it was his eighth 40-point game of the season.
Embiid has hit at least 25 points in 23 straight games. He’s had a 25-point double-double in 11 of his last 12 games. Basically, Embiid delivers one of the highest floors of stats in the league and is playing his best ball ever even before Harden gets added to the mix.

Boston did hold Embiid to a season-low 13 points in December, but it was an uncharacteristic performance with Embiid shooting 3-of-17 from the field, his only game under 25% this year. Three weeks later against Boston, Embiid dropped 41 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Embiid has had at least 10 rebounds and five assists in all three matchups with Boston this year.
Embiid scored at least 35 points in all three games against Boston a season ago. He hasn’t been as dominant against Boston this year, but until Harden arrives and takes some of the burden off the MVP favorite’s back, I trust Embiid to have a huge game and get to 50 total in the three main stat categories.
NBA Prop Pick: Joel Embiid Over 49 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-116) at Bovada
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks
Tuesday, February 15, 2022 – 07:30 PM EST at State Farm Arena
Evan Mobley
This should be another competitive game with the Cleveland Cavaliers as a 1.5-point road favorite in Atlanta. The teams have split the first two meetings this season, which were both decided by fewer than seven points.
Prop Analysis
Rookie forward Evan Mobley leads Cleveland with 1.7 blocks per game, which ranks seventh among all NBA players. In 49 games played this season, Mobley has registered at least two blocks 24 times, or almost half the time. He has 12 games with at least three blocks, including twice in his last four games.
Mobley had zero blocks in his last game. He only has been held without a block in consecutive games twice this season. The +125 odds at Bovada are very good for something that has been a coin flip this season, but even better is the fact that the opponent is Atlanta.
In two games against the Hawks, Mobley had three blocks and four blocks. With the smaller Trae Young loving to cut to the basket, Mobley should have opportunities to register multiple blocks in this game.
I would not get greedy and bet on Mobley to have three blocks for a third time against Atlanta this season, but two should do the trick.
NBA Prop Pick: Evan Mobley At Least 2 Blocks (+125) at Bovada
Charlotte Hornets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Tuesday, February 15, 2022 – 08:00 PM EST at Target Center
Karl-Anthony Towns
The Minnesota Timberwolves are a 6-point home favorite against the Charlotte Hornets. These teams met once this season with Charlotte winning by 18 points. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 25 points in just over 30 minutes of action that day as the scoring margin kept him from logging more time.
Prop Analysis
Towns is coming off a quiet 15-point outing in a win over Indiana, but you should look for him to bounce back with a big game against a Charlotte defense that ranks 24th in Net Rating and allows the third-most points per game (114.6) this season.
In the last three games, the Hornets have allowed Ja Morant to score 26 points, Saddiq Bey (he averages 15.7 points per game) to score 25 points, and 36 points to DeMar DeRozan.
Towns is also in the news this week for allegedly cheating on his Wordle game, so a good scoring night can take his mind off that silliness. Plus, teammate Anthony Edwards should cool down after hitting seven threes on his way to 37 points in Sunday’s win. I like KAT to break 26 tonight.
NBA Prop Pick: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 25.5 Points (-120) at Bovada
