The A’s will send righty Osvaldo Bido (2-3, 4.64 ERA, 1.39 WHIP) to the bump after the 28-year-old posted solid numbers against the Dodgers’ potent lineup in a 3-2 loss on Sunday in which he permitted two earned runs on six hits over six innings of work.
That was a stark departure from his previous start in which the Angels rocked Bido for seven runs before he got the hook after lasting only 3.2 innings.
Blue Jays Pitching Profile
Yariel Rodriguez (1-4, 3.86 ERA, 1.33 WHIP) will hope to duplicate his efforts from last Sunday when he held the Yankees scoreless over 4.2 innings before the Jays’ bullpen failed to do the same and Toronto wound up on the losing end of a 4-3 extra-innings decision.

The A’s may be residing in the basement of the AL West yet again this season but at least this year they are not the worst team in baseball, that distinction belongs to the Chicago White Sox. Nevertheless, they are facing a team in the Blue Jays that won their last three games against them, including last night’s 3-1 decision and took 7 of their last 9 meetings.
