Jeremiyah Love is your prototypical franchise back, capable of handling a heavy workload while making an impact both on the ground and through the air.
The Cardinals have several weapons on offense, including Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Michael Wilson. This can open up running lanes for Love.
Widely considered the best player in the draft, there’s a reason why Love is so highly priced.
Fernando Mendoza, QB, Las Vegas Raiders (+225)
Fernando Mendoza just won the Heisman, set to join Brock Bowers on the Raiders as the first overall pick.
The issue with taking Mendoza to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is that he’s likely to start the year on the bench, backing up veteran Kirk Cousins.
That means that Mendoza would have to ball out in limited action to win this award. While that’s definitely possible, is it worth laying a +225 price?
2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Sleepers
There are two sleepers I have my eye on for the 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, both wide receivers.
Carnell Tate, WR, Tennessee Titans (+450)
Carnell Tate went 4th overall to the Titans, becoming the first wide receiver off the board. There’s a path for the former Ohio State standout to emerge as the top target for Cam Ward.
This makes Tate look like a nice value at +450 odds to win the 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Jordyn Tyson, WR, New Orleans Saints (+650)
The Saints selected Jordyn Tyson at 8th overall, making him the new WR2 next to Chris Olave.
Even though Tyson is firmly behind Olave in the pecking order, there’s a chance that the Saints can take off on offense, especially after also bringing in Travis Etienne.
If that happens and Tyson is a big contributor, there’s a path to him winning this award.
2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Longshots
There are two long shots for this award that we can consider.
Jadarian Price, RB, Seattle Seahawks (+800)
The Seahawks selected Jadarian Price at 32nd overall to address their clear need at running back.
With Kenneth Walker signing with the Chiefs and Zach Charbonnet recovering from a torn ACL, Price has a path to a heavy workload.
Playing for the defending Super Bowl champions, that means an opportunity to put up some nice numbers.
Carson Beck, QB, Arizona Cardinals (+1200)
The Cardinals took Carson Beck in the third round. With Jacoby Brissett as merely a stopgap, there’s a chance that Beck can start some games under center.
As with the NFL MVP, quarterbacks have an advantage with the Offensive Rookie of the Year because of their positional value.
That means that if Beck can smash expectations, he’ll be in play for this award.
2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Best Bet
I’m going with chalk for my 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year best bet. Let’s ride with Jeremiyah Love at +175 odds.
I know it’s tough to only get +175 here, but Love is simply head-and-shoulders above the rest of this group. I don’t anticipate Fernando Mendoza playing until midseason, which would put him too far behind to win this award.
Expect Love to put up strong numbers immediately, making him a strong bet here.
