If you go into debt because of them yes I agree JJ it is a ruination. But on the other hand if you're able to pay off the bill monthly and not have to pay interest they are very very valuable especially with a lot of the rewards and perks some of these cards offer

I have the Chase Sapphire, it is by far the best card in existence with no comparison. $550 annual fee but you get $300 annual travel credit and the priority pass plus tons of other perks. I also have the Black card but it sucks compared to the Sapphire.
