True enough.....but everything 'regresses to the mean'......-1.5. , the only time I would play it would be with a hot offensive team on a winning streak, losing three at bats with the home team is big

Agree with this but 100%, but since the rules apply to both teams of the ball, I'm thinking the net impact will be negligible as far as Margin of Victory (MOV) goes. Total runs may be up but MOV might be consistent. Still too early to say.

A lot of factors to consider. Would be a good discussion in another thread.
