There’s something off about him JJ. I’m telling you.Kid a winner

The important thing is he put to rest the only concern they had about him.Let's not put too much pressure on the Kid. Hit us back in a couple of years and see how he performs. Mendoza seems like a good guy and I hope he succeeds. But he has not done a damn thing in an NFL Game yet.
Of course but no one is saying he's the greatest ever yet.^ Understand your enthusiasm for the the Kid. But NFL an unforgiving league for QB's. I think he will succeed but all am saying is let's put him to the test before we anoint him the next Tom Brady.
Exactly. The worst thing would be turning this kid into a Cincinnati Bengals type situation where you have an elite QB but a horrendous O line and he's always injured.Yeah need to have a solid O line for sure. Throwing to Bowers will help, and maybe Jeanty breaks out this year. Last year was a wasted deal in the desert with a washed up coach and QB. The future looks brighter for sure. But injuries can happen and other factors can arise as well. See what happens.

Mendoza is the future.Welcome to Da Raiders. You think Raiders trade #1 pick @phillyflyers What you think about your real new QB![]()

A wise decision. Celebrate success with your family.Fernando Mendoza, the projected No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, has informed the league that he is not planning to attend the draft, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Mendoza wants to share the draft experience with his family in Miami, sources told Schefter.
The Las Vegas Raiders are widely expected to select Mendoza first overall after the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback led Indiana to the College Football Playoff championship last season.
