I realize there are not many USFL fans out there due to the quality of the play but, guys there is money to be made on these games.

Any leans or plays on today's games?

12:00 PM ET Pitt +8 vs New Orleans Total 37

4:00 PM ET Houston +7 vs New Jersey Total 40

I'm working some numbers to find any plays.

Initial thoughts:
The O/U on Houston/New Jersey might be tough one to play. The books/public are getting wise to all the "Overs" that have been occurring in the league so they came out a little higher on that game making it a close one to call.

IMO the first game is an "over" play. I see New Orleans scoring 23-25+ points and Pittsburgh in the 16-20 range. Either way its over the 37 total we're being offered. This line has moved up from 36.5 so there is some pressure on the Over.

As far as a side goes the +8 Maulers is enticing and I would lean towards that play more than New Orleans -8. After week 1, when playing good teams in the league the Maulers have not lost by 8 (Stars, Generals). The week 3 loss to Michigan appears to be more of an anomaly.

Good luck today.

I was looking at the lines few minutes ago

Seems like one of these games has to go under there's a run of overs isn't there
Yep. Last week all 4 games over. So far this week first 2 games over.

I'm thinking the late game today may be an under. If the first game goes over, the public will jump on the over for the late game (they love trends) and drive the number up more giving us an edge. Its currently at 40 and I believe its pressing a little too high. I would love to be able to bet under 41+.

I see the early game as an over because the Maulers are playing better and are "hanging" close to better teams (Stars, Generals). Also New Orleans gave up 16 to Houston, which I consider on par with the Maulers. So 16 from Pitt means we need 21 or more from New Orleans for the over which I believe is doable.

Late game I see it as NJ 21-25 and Houston 13-16 game. Slightly under the 40.
Of either game today I think the late game has the best chance of going under.

I think the +8 for Houston is about right. I don't see and edge on the side.

Hmmm I was actually thinking this may be the one to go under
