They have enough money for 3 years from Fox/NBC with 0 fans.

I bet they didn't actually expect there to be ZERO fans but, they can live through it. The key is going to be the TV ratings.

With games being played only in one city, they knew this in advance. Pittsburgh showed they were a garbage team game 1. You can't expect fans to pay/watch a game that their team isn't involved in when they are trash. Even if they gave away tickets, not many families can afford the gas, parking, or concessions

$10 for tickets and the kids get in free. They weren't expecting to make a lot from the gate. The Stallions games have brought in a decent crowd though.

It's a good break from MLB and NBA.

All of the USFL players had to sign 2 year contracts. The only way they can leave the USFL next year is if they make the NFL. The XFL is going to have a potential problem in talent next year because of this issue if the USFL makes Season 2 a reality.
