The Stars have come on strong late in the season. I was surprised by how well they played against the Generals last week (I lost that bet). If you look at their last 3 games vs the upper half of USFL teams they are doing well.

• Playoff week 1 vs Generals - They covered the spread by 9.5
• Week 6 vs TB Bandits - They covered the spread by 9.5
• Week 5 vs Birm Stallions - They did not cover the spread due to a last min meaningless/garbage TD by the stallions.

They average 28 ppg and give up 26 ppg.
Narrowing that down... against the better USFL teams they average 22 points and allow 24 points.

They seem to have found some momentum late in the season winning their last 5 in a row + the playoff win against a decent Generals team.
