Tough matchup for the hometown team.
Yeah, UCLA played a good end of the season, but pehaps it was an early peak.
Early indicatons maybe their in a good spot here. They have some ballers and UCLA can be inconsistent. I do have more work to do but I will say, that is a tough bracket.
But if UCF gets past UCLA, Uconn should be hungry but have fallen off and maybe set to fall out. Let's ee if Furman gives Uconn trouble.
When I say tough bracket, go down the first round games. Every game has a dangerous team that could go deep.
Duke, St. Johns, TCU (or Ohio St even), Kansas....Duke has their hands full.
L'ville, Mich St, UCLA/UCF, UConn...this side of it feels a little weaker, UCF might have a decent draw in the tough bracket.
IF they can beat UCLA, there's a shot. They could end up taking down a declining Uconn, and UCLA recently beat Mich St, so tghatg could feel good, or the opponent would be L'ville. UCF fans wouldn't mind that. The other potential opponents would be even better for UCF.
It's a potential path for UCF, but first one game at a time.
