I might side with Halep here

Very obscure drug

A newly developed kidney medicine

Oral pill no less (very weak)

I'm wondering if she was on some stuff for her boobs or nose surgery (before or after) and this was an inflammation deal

There's nothing in this drug that enhances your lifting, breathing or endurance, that can be accomplished in oral form....shed need to swallow the whole bottle to get a boost, and that would definitely show up in great detail via an obscene test result.

Was it regulated by WTA?
If so, doesn't matter if it is a drug or not.
No it is not

It's a substance added in 2021 by the ITIA (integrity authority) list of banned substances. That's actually who performed the test, not the WTA or US Open.

It's a relatively new anemia drug, taken orally, and the suspension is mandatory per the affiliate program w World Anti Doping Agency

So weird, oral steroids are considered rather weak and considered performance enhancing generally

If the WTA doesn't regulate the use of it, how can she be in trouble. This makes no sense.
Does WTA adhere to ITIA banned substance list?

Yes, there's a pamphlet Sent out annually. I actually dated/ managed/ bankrolled my ex (a Latvian) for 6 months while she tried to go pro on the qualifying circuit.

Roids very common on low level tennis/ girls in early 20s that start breaking down that try to hang on.
