Tanking sucks but again I don't think there is anything the commissioner can do about it because teams can find ways around the no tanking policies he may try to implement. All it takes is benching your best players in crunch time and they can say well we tried to win but they made more plays than we did when in reality they lost on purpose by benching their best players while still having a chance to win the game. See nothing that can been done about the creative ways that teams are losing on purpose.

Something like this^^^. They've already messed with the odds and chances of the worst team getting the first pick.

They could expand the lottery.

They could lock the lottery odds earlier in the season, like at the trade deadline.

They could limit the teams to a top 4 or 5 pick every couple of years, or something like that.

What about, instead of the play-in tournament, they do a tournament for the teams out of the playoffs to compete for top pick chances?
