Here we go again

Guy resists arrest, runs away, takes the police officers taser away and fires it at the officer, continues to fight with the cop, and now everyone (not everyone) up in arms after the officer had to use deadly force

Why resist?

Why take the cops taser and point and fire it at him?

If he does that, then obviously he would or could attempt to take his gun next.

Cop was in a position of kill or possibly be killed

If he is convicted simply because you have people out there crying murder, who think they can get away with anything now, then every cop in the U.S. should resign

Exactly, after all these incidents why still choose to resist? He was acting stupid. The officer is actually trying to be patient, though how I wish he is more knowledgeable in martial arts to easily take down this guy without resulting to death.

Intense. Was he alone? There is a time to be a hero and a time not to. Things could have easily been the other way around. Hell of a take down but fail after that and not something you do alone.

I fvcked up doing something similar once in the heat of the moment. A hospital psych patient took off running on a different non-locked medical unit. I was picking up meds from the pharmacy on that unit(had the elevator transfer device like you see at a bank. My locked unit didn't have it). He darted out of his room(had psych sitter watching him) and I went on the chase down flights of stairs to underground basement area. We all wore panic devices where we could activate it and be found where ever we were by security. We got him and used proper technique in take down and hold position after until help came but it was stupid and would not do again.
