Dayam.... I really hate to lean into this one but I think JJ is right.
Pitching: I like to go with pitchers that are trending up.
- Flaherty (DET) is improving after two poor starts. His last two starts were very good. He seems to be getting his legs under him.
- Gray (BOS) is choppy. Poor opening day, two decent game and a disaster the last outing.
At the plate: Tigers are hitting a little better 0.244 vs 0.215 AVG and are scoring more runs 4 RPG vs 3 RPG.
Bullpen: Pretty even with a slight edge to Boston. They've used fewer relievers over the series.
Momentum: Tigers are on an 8-1 run. Red Sox 4-5 over last 9.
Current odds +124 on Detroit, implied probability ~45%.
I see this much closer to even or should be detroit slightly favored.
With a 5-8% edge on est odds vs book, I'll take the Tigers.
PS. I'm on a lossing streak from hell. Only 2 + days this month. So I do not know what I am doing.
