Spieth horse ran well, but not well enough.

I saw that race & got shut out.Good effort. Monmouth is getting their purses cut RD.I think they are on life support.They own a ton of property & I'll be curious to see what happens there going forward.The William Hill sportsbook is ok,nothing great.

I’ve talked about how trainer Tony Wilson had a monster meet last year, but hadn’t duplicated this year. Maybe the guy just needs an injection of new horseflesh. Looks like he picked this one up in a private sale since it’s last race. I’d expect the horse to be more forwardly placed this time for the speed -loving Wilson.
