Anyone who likes Springsteen music ever hear this song? It's from the outtakes.

STRAY BULLET

In the tall grass we held hands
Down by the river we made plans
Of what would and would not be
It was impossible to see
Their black boots shone in the sun
They were waiting on the Annandale
Train when my baby come
Little girl with the long black hair
Do you know what lies ’neath the
Long coats that they wear
Once I swore you’d ride with me
(To some far and distant shore)
Down where this river meets the sea
(I’ll make you mine forevermore)
Over these dark hills I walk along
(Just to hold you in my arms)
To lie with you on a bed of stone
River blood red with the years
You can flood this valley
With a thousand tears
Wash away all that’s been found
But you’ll never wash away the sound
Of the stray bullet that shot my baby down
Of the stray bullet that shot my baby down
Of the stray bullet that shot my baby down
Of the stray bullet that shot my baby down

He had a few good songs .....more of a Northeast singer
OK Gold. Maybe you don't like his politics. Lynyrd Skynyrd is a great band but I don't ride around with a confederate flag hanging from my vehicle. I listen to the music and not worry about the BS. Yeah the Boss is from NJ but his appeal is worldwide. THX for checking in.

Sorry, no offense, but I stand by my words, but I will give you “Rosalita”. It’s very “Billy Joel-esque”, and it’s one of the few Springsteen songs I don’t immediately turn off.

And politics aside, even the most rabid of Springsteen fans has to admit that this thing is just pure dog$#!T…..

I’ll have to check that song out I do like a handful of songs of his. I’ll listen & give it an honest rating not familiar with it.

The River song is the inspiration for my handle. ever hear that song? F the politics of it all. I don't agree with all the Boss politics nor do I favor all of Lynyrd Skynyrd's I listen for the music. Is what the F it is.
