Rotation #249
SMU -10.5 over Boston College
The weather at Fenway won’t be nice as it will be wet and humid, but I still like SMU. The Mustangs have a massive talent edge over the Eagles. The Mustangs come into the game champions of the AAC and are looking to end the year on a high note. Mustangs QB Kevin Jennings has a lot of outstanding receivers to target. SMU has the luxury of being at full strength with no significant transfers. The Eagles have a shifty duel-threat QB in Thomas Castellanos but are thin at the receiver due to transfers and injury. The Mustangs are in better shape on defense and have talent and depth at all three levels. Take SMU.

Rotation #253
NC State +2.5 over Kansas State
Kansas State will start Avery Johnson at quarterback. QB Will Howard, as did a few key running backs and receivers, opted out of the game. The Wildcats have a rock-solid offensive line with a lot of experience. Kansas State should run the ball well, but I don’t trust them in the passing game. NC State is good at stopping the run, and I wonder if the Wildcats’ thin group of receivers will beat the secondary. NC State QB Brennan Armstrong gets a second chance to end his career on a high note after being benched earlier in the year. The Wolfpack have receivers who can make big plays, so I see them scoring quickly, while Kansas State will need to chip away yard by yard. This type of game will take a lot of work for Kansas State to get back into if they are down late. Armstrong has the experience edge at quarterback and should lead his team to victory. Take NC State.

Rotation #256
Oklahoma +1.5 over Arizona
Arizona was the best team in the nation at covering the spread this season, so the public loves them. It’s funny how things reverse themselves around this time of year. Arizona is a great team but slightly overrated. Jordan Morgan opted out of this game, so the offensive line takes a big hit. Noah Fifita has played well but is young and prone to mistakes. Oklahoma will be without Dillon Gabriel and start the youngster Jackson Arnold. The Sooners might turn into a ground-a-pound team. Oklahoma will also have a shuffled offensive line, so expect a lot of presnap penalties from both teams. Tonight’s game is in San Antonio, so Sooner fans should be the majority. Arizona is a great team capable of winning, but the Sooners have higher-rated athletes. Brett Venables defense will be ready. The Sooners are the underdog in this spot and will try to prove that their new five-star QB is the real deal. Take Oklahoma.
