Philly has been without Embiid for each of the first 2 games and aren't expected to have him for Game 3. The 76ers aren't even remotely close to the same team without him on the floor. Not only is he their best offensive weapon, but he's one of their best defenders. Heat aren't a team to overlook an opponent in any circumstance. Last thing they want to do is not show up and lose this game and then have Embiid return for Game 4. Bet the Heat -3!

Friday's MLB Pick: New York Mets -133

I'll take my chances with the Mets as a -133 road favorite against the Phillies on Friday. New York had one of the most improbable wins of the season yesterday, as they exploded for 7 runs in the Top of the 9th to turn a 7-1 deficit into a 8-7 win.

Winning a game in that fashion can be a huge momentum builder for the team that rallied from behind and a absolutely crushing blow to the team that lost. I just think it will be really hard for Philly to bounce back from that defeat, especially with Max Scherzer on the mound for the Mets.

Scherzer is off to another stellar start in 2022. He's 4-0 with a 2.61 ERA and 0.806 WHIP in 5 starts. Mets are a perfect 5-0 in those starts. He's also owned the Phillies in his career. Scherzer is 16-4 with a 2.44 ERA and 1.002 WHIP in 27 starts.

Kyle Gibson will go for the Phillies. He's been great so far in 2022, but is just 1-3 with a 4.15 ERA and 1.747 WHIP in 6 career starts vs New York. Give me the Mets -133!
