Sports betting and the taboo

I dont know about you, but for me it was kinda hard to explain to the people around me that I was into sports betting without them thinking I was into some sort of drug lol.

Some of my friends for example, were constantly asking if I was doing good after my teams loss because they thought I was always putting my money on them I thought I was nice at first, but after a few times, I felt like a was being treated like a freak...

I wanna hear some stories from the forum, I cant be the only one...

Yeah, I don’t get it. A lot of people think ALL gamblers are degenerates. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met are gamblers.

When I tell people that I gamble almost daily and they give me a dirty look, I just say “I only do it so that I can contribute more money to my church and my minister approves”. It changes their view pretty quick.

Its kind of funny because the same people will call and ask for my super bowl, World Series or other pick so they can bet on them. If gamblers are degens then everyone is.

Lol. When I read the title first thing comes to my mind is the MJ users. My Country is still a big believer that people that smoke MJ are bad people and addict.

I don't tolerate drugs of course. Especially synthetic drugs (our president hate drugs! lol) but I've read a good health benefits for mj as long as it is use moderately and properly.
