The same group of books that voided Chiefs vs Packers after Rodgers got Covid claiming bad line.

This is now twice they have cancelled wagers claiming bad lines after large moves well after wagers were made at legitimate lines.

This is a very bad look for them and a pathetic decision by them.

It's blatant thievery.

As Walker became the favorite over the last couple of days before the drafted it was well reported that his odds had dropped in Vegas from 30/1 the previous month, which would be well within the parameters you places your bet.

Bets on Walker should be honored, period. Falling asleep at the wheel is not grounds for cancelling bets. The live odds should have been adjusted and existing wagers untouched.

If anyone has a chart of historical draft odds to help us make this case to SkyBook, please drop in here. We are in touch with the OP via email.

Using the above chart, as well as everything that I read about the history of Walker’s odds, it would be difficult to make a legitimate argument why not to pay this bet.

Like Frank said. Outright fraud.

Line moves. If the live move and the book isn’t happy, any overnight line with key player deciding not to play is a free roll void line.

Did the book refund all the money on non walker lines? If walk odds was improving the non walker line would be getting worst. All those lines are essentially bad because the handle is the sum of all line odds on the field. You can’t have a change in one with out it affecting the others.

This exactly. Can I get my Ekwonu +6600 bets back too? Obviously that line was bad, he ended up in discussions to go #1.

Any update on this? Did OP get paid?
An update for you:

SkyBook is telling BMR that this line was entered in error by an employee. One of my the more laughable excuses I've seen in my time dealing with online books.

I have little to no hope of achieving anything here. I appreciate BMR's help, especially since it is free, but it seems like SkyBook isn't going to budge and is just going to continue lying to avoid paying me.

Absolute horseshit.

Blatant stealing.

Stuff like this will probably start happening more often at smaller books as they don't have the customers and volume they used to before legalized wagering started in the US.

This gives offshore yet another black eye and there is no recourse nor consequences whatsoever.

The representative from Skybook has worked with us for a long time and he does admit fault and change things when needed.

They claim it was a staff input error that was not available for very long and only a handful of bets were made in that time. Which were all voided.

I do not think Skybook is lying. This was two full days after odds for Walker to go first plummeted across the market to around +450 so I would expect to be seeing more complaints like this if he had been left up at +2250 for two days.

BMR suggested to Skybook that considering the time delay in cancelling these "errors" that they should be honoring these bets at fair market odds.
