Wow.... Shocked....Jim France stepping down as NASCAR CEO. He’s also the majority owner.
Will be the first time someone from the France family hasn’t held the position since NASCAR was founded.

The style of trucks racing you’re talking about isn’t NASCAR but it looks wild as hell.
There are all sorts of different racing series around the country and world.
Tremendous break down, BJ knows his shit & has made me thousands tailing him on just a few NASCAR bets, hope we can add more to the pot tomorrow.@JDS wanted to know a little bit more about the race tomorrow since he’s got a pretty big bet down.
This is what I came up with real quick off the top of my head:
In a race like tomorrow’s you just want to have a shot at the end. With your driver in the top 6-7, hopefully the top 4-5, in the final 10 laps.
A lot of changes and crashes take place in this style in the last 10-15 laps with everyone jockeying for position.
Obviously there’s luck involved as your pick has to avoid the big multi-car wrecks that are inevitable.
Drafting style speedway track (2.6 miles huge). Everyone is very tightly bunched and using a technique to get close to the car in front so you have less air hitting your car and you use less gas. When there’s a huge row of cars doing the same thing you can go a lot faster as a group than a few by themselves. A lot of times the manufacturers stick together in packs and also pit together. Bubba is a Chevy. They’re pretty good at this style.
Dale Earnhardt was a master at this style of racing. Perfected and invented a lot of the techniques you’ll see tomorrow. Ironically died at the most famous of this style track (Daytona) on a last-lap crash in 2001.
