i might bet toyota again if odds right. drivers i am interested in out of the gate are: bell, svg, elliot..just not sure who they’ll be h2h with
Chevy should be less than even money to win Sunday COTA with the two best current road racers in SVG and Zilisch.

Fading them may get you some real good odds on Toyota.

Bell’s the defending champ. Passed Kyle Busch late using a tire advantage.

Austin Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is up as we get to a road course and away from the drafting style we faced the first two races.

COTA start times O’Reilly’s Saturday 3 pm ET and Cup Sunday 3:30 PM ET.

Trucks will be racing Saturday at noon ET at St. Petersburg Street Course in Florida.

The changes made to the COTA course before the 2025 race (changing it from a 3.4 mile to a 2.3 mile layout) made for a lot more action during the race. The track still has 20 turns.

Zilisch won the O’Reilley’s Race last year and Bell won the Cup race.

Surprisingly SVG wasn’t a contender late at COTA in 2025 on Sunday in Cup. He won the next five Cup road course races in 2025. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, SVG has never won in any nascar series at COTA.

Keep an eye out for road course ringers entered in Saturday’s O’Reilly’s race. (I’m really looking forward to being at this one in person for a second straight year.)

Both Zilisch and SVG will be racing in the O’Reilly’s COTA race I’m going to Saturday.

It’s on :)

I’m pumped. I was hoping to see just one of them. Now to see them in person go head to head will be awesome.

Both will be racing Jr. Motor Sports cars, which have been the best in the series the last few years.

How do you doing in the truck races?
Had my biggest score so far this season in the trucks race in Atlanta Saturday coach. Hit Kyle Busch for $600 profit.

Love me a good trucks race. They are much shorter than the other two series so it’s very difficult to overcome any penalty or miscue on a pit stop.

Should be a fun season in the trucks series again. I just wish FS1 would take her off the race broadcasts. She’s horrible calling the races. Decent as a pit reporter though.

Book starting to post odds.

Winning manufacturer:
Chevrolet -400
Toyota +400
Ford +1000

Figured Chevy would be at least -200 to -250.

That means SVG and Zilisch will be far and away the top two individual favorites Sunday as well as expected.

All the Hendrick Chevy drivers and good to great road course racers - Larson and Byron are great, Elliott used to be the cream of the crop but hasn’t had the success on road courses with the newest generation car (last road course win was in 2021), and Bowman won Chicago street race 2024.

Michael McDowell (one) and Ross Chastain (won COTA 2022) are also Chevy drivers that have had road course wins the past 4-5 years.
