I was in the corner store today and the guy in front of me bought $1000 in scratch offs. Dropped $100 bills on the counter and collected twenty $50 scratch offs. I was like wow. I guess he feels lucky.

You guys play scratch offs or lottery?

I never do unless its like a stocking stuffer for people at Christmas.

Those big ones are maybe worth it.

You can go online and see what's left, ticket wise and what's left prize wise.

Florida has a $50 game w a $20mm payout, or they did pre covid.

Noone hit anything for about 9 months so I started buying.

I got a $10k, but it cost me $11k lol

Dude in Punta Gorda, just up the road, hit $5mm that same day.

So ya, that's a gamble I'd say could be worth it.

Probably invest 100 dollars a year at the very most on scratch-offs & Lottery tickets.

I never buy them. I’ll play the powerball or mega a few times a year when the jackpots get crazy

check this out. Lady hit 100k or more scratch off for the third time in past 5 years using a strategy

I've heard of doing this to improve your odds.

What was weird was that he wanted the "newest $50 scratch-offs" so i don't think he was playing odds on the tickets remaining in a specific contest.

We he left, he did climb into what looked like a new Corvertte. Clearly, he was not hurting for cash.
