San Diego’s Blake Snell is finally pitching like a former CY Young winner again. His W/L record not great & team record when he pitches overall is bad, but his ERA is 0.75 over his last 4 starts.
For Tampa Zach Eflin he has struggled a bit on the road with a 5.53 ERA. He is lights out at home, but on the road he is kinda suspect. For some pitchers it’s hard to break these routines mid-season.
What is ironic for this game is both pitchers were drafted from opposing teams over 10 years ago. The Padres on any given day can score with the best of them & I envision a scenario where Zach Eflin gets cracked on the road.
