Wow. It was only a $300M investment. Not sure it was going to be a big place. I realize it was not going to be on the scale of MGM Las Vegas ($1.1B) but is seems like a small number.
The drop in the value of the Ruble and the anticipated sanctions was probably going to make this venture impossible to proceed with.
Also the location seems weird. In Siberia? East coast of Russia does not seem like a hot bed for tourism.
