I bumped it up to 750 because I like to be extra.

@BigJay correctly selected tails. He gets to determine order of picks.

You have until Friday at midnight Pacific time to make all selections fellas, including the two pack driver tie breaker. Please don't DNQ
I am asking that if you see a loophole that I missed, don't exploit it--let's keep this honorable as intended

Step 1: @BigJay decides if he wants first or second pick in the snaking draft for exclusive matchups to select a winning driver.

Draft Option 1: Draft picks: 1, 4, 5, 8 + 2nd tiebreaker selections

Draft Option 2: Draft picks: 2, 3, 6, 7, + 1st tiebreaker selections

(each select 4 match ups that they will exclusively reserve for their winning driver selections) :

Byron vs Reddick
Elliot vs Larson
Gibbs vs Allmendinger
Buescher vs McDowell
Chastain vs Busch
Hamlin vs Logano
Keselowski vs Gilliland
Dillon vs Custer
Berry vs Stenhouse jr
Wallace vs Hocevar
Smith vs Gragson

Tie Breaker:

Pick two drivers to finish and create the highest combined/ worst finish e.g. 22nd finish + 23rd finish for a 45 wins the tiebreaker over two drivers that finish to a combined 44 or less.

Thread will get a little messy, which is fun, but if we need the contest selections from each poster in one post
Format (bold means the driver you believe will win:
Driver name 1 (driver name 2)
Driver name 3 (driver name 4)
...
...

tiebraker:

Driver and Driver

Let's go fellas, Start your engines :checkered

So @roofer if I choose to pick second I would receive the first tiebreak pick??

Is that driver I think will win the race?? Or the driver I think will finish last?

The tiebreakers are the only thing I’m a bit confused on. We are each picking two drivers for the tiebreaker? And we want to select drivers we feel will do well individually?? Or do we want to pick drivers we feel will finish poorly in the tiebreaker? The wording threw me off a bit.

The first part if I’m not mistaken is fairly easy, we just go back and forth making picks in snake order until we have each selected the winner of four matchups (once that matchup is selected it’s off the table) and if, for example, I go 3-1 and @Tanko goes 2-2 then I win the contest. Or vice versa. No tiebreaker needed.

Thanks so much!

the tiebreaker is picking two drivers that when combined, they do the worst 22nd finish plus 23rd finish for a combined 45. does that make sense?

So to be clear obviously no one would pick SVG in this tiebreak scenario.

We want to go on the opposite end of the spectrum for tiebreak picks??

@BigJay won the flip.

I’ll select first. We shoulda have four matchups each after selections (once we pick a matchup it’s off the board) and two tie-break drivers each.

After my first matchup selection @Tanko will have two selections. Then I’ll have two and so on and so forth like mister @roofer outlines above.

One question. If either of us picks one of the Keselowski/Gilliland matchup and Brad has someone sub-out for him in the race, the pick still stands right? I've read he has someone on standby in case.

Do you agree with that?
