Guy only goes about 80 pitches a game then counsell gives him the hook. Cubs bullpen is 100% rested and they have another day off friday. Look for assad to go 4.0 innings then pen rest of the way. Not like he isnt pretty good too, he is.

To add to KK's comments. I think the Cubs will score early against Cleveland with Boyd on the mound. That's good and bad since it should relieve some of the pressure on Assad but it may also make the Cubs leave him in there longer.

Tanko i think this guy is not used long tonite. Even if he pitches well that bullpen is 5th best at 3.63 era

And they are ready. These are playoff games for the cubs.

Like the play - agree for a number of reasons.

Also do not understand the Guards at -150 here - Boyd is far from elite - Assad isn’t bad. Guards bats have been streaky at best most of the year and feels like a lot of unders with them.

I see a 1-0 game through 5th - taking this and the under 4.5 through 5 for +100 - NRFI -110
