Ok, this is a weird one. We all know bookmaker running an A+ book. I even had bad lines I brought that lost that they refund the money before the game end. So to feel scam by them is really weird.

So I made a $20K withdrawal today. Requested at 8:47 am Pst 1/6/22. Bitcoin was trading at $42,850 during that time.
The request was processed at 11:15am pst 1/6/22. Bitcoin was trading $43500 during that time

So Bitcoin was traded upwards. But they only sent $18852 to me when I received it. This would have placed the value of the bitcoin at $41063 when they sent it. Which at no point during that period it was trading at 41063.

Hopefully someone can be of assistance..

Edit note: Added date

Below is my transcript:

Info: You are being transferred to an agent
Info: You are now connected to Joe.
12:16, Jan 6
You: Hi Joe.
12:16, Jan 6
Joe: Welcome to our Live Chat Department. My name is Joe. How may I be of assistance?
12:16, Jan 6
Joe: Hello,
12:16, Jan 6
You: So I made a withdrawal request 3 hours ago on bitcoin for $20K. The price of bitcoin hasn't had a big change during that period. trading at $42500-43000, but the money got I received was much lower $18852 when I got it.
12:16, Jan 6
You: But during that period there wasn't a 5% change in bitcoin pricing. So I think there might be a withdrawal issue, that I was shorted $1K
12:16, Jan 6
Joe: Please hold while I check on that for you.
12:17, Jan 6
You: If anything the final amount should have went up, because BTC was trading at $42.7K when I made th request and it is now at $43200
12:17, Jan 6
You: Thank you
12:27, Jan 6
Joe: My apologies for the slight delay. I will be with you shortly.
12:27, Jan 6
You: Take your time, thanks for the assistance Joe. Sure you need to verify the bitcoin trading number and time frame.
12:36, Jan 6
Joe: You are welcome. I am checking the case with upper management.
12:36, Jan 6
Joe: I will be back in a few minutes.
12:41, Jan 6
You: Thanks see you in a few!
12:42, Jan 6
Joe: It looks like the fluctuation on the price is the reason why you got less money.
12:43, Jan 6
Joe: As per management we are not able to cover the difference.
12:43, Jan 6
You: Yes but during the period between the money sent out and the money received there wasn't a change in price that shows the 5-7% in the amount.
12:44, Jan 6
Joe: Unfortunately management already checked the case and we are not able to cover the difference.
12:44, Jan 6
You: Can you send me the information regarding the spot price of bitcoin when it was sent?
12:45, Jan 6
Joe: For more details please send an email to support@bookmaker.eu
12:45, Jan 6
You: Thanks. Joe
12:45, Jan 6
Joe: You are very welcome. I am happy to have been of assistance.

Look up your transaction on a blockchain explorer. It should show you the value of the coin when sent by Bookmaker.
Yeah it doesn't add up. This address has transacted 1 times on the Bitcoin blockchain. It has received a total of 0.43275290 BTC ($18,642.69) and has sent a total of 0.00000000 BTC ($0.00). The current value of this address is 0.43275290 BTC ($18,642.69).

But I requested a withdrawal for $20K and the value of bitcoin didn't change much during that time, in fact it went up.

I think you might be looking at the wrong thing. You need to click on the transaction and then see what the "Value when transacted" is. If you look at other dollar values, they may be changing every second as the value of bitcoin goes up and down. The "Value when transacted" is static and represents what they sent you. If that value is wrong, then they shorted you.

@DontTailMe Thanks man! Your instruction gave me definitive proof they are wrong. Now I just need them to admit and fix the problem instead of pretending there isn't one.

Man working with the CS is like talking to a stone. I already provide all information that is public information that they can access and show where they went wrong, and they still don't fix the problem!

I even figure where they went wrong, that they used the wrong date for the price 1/5/2022 4:46pmUTC instead of 1/6/2022. And they still can't just look at fix it.

Larry: Welcome to our Live Chat Department. My name is Larry. How may I be of assistance?
17:00, Jan 6
You: Hi Larry, I was given too little btc during my withdrawal for $20K. And was able to figure out the math that the amount sent was incorrect
17:01, Jan 6
You: I was sent this transaction to fill a $20K request
17:01, Jan 6
You:
17:01, Jan 6
You: Base on the hash block:
17:02, Jan 6
1/6/22, 6:03 PM
3/5
Larry: One moment please.
17:02, Jan 6
You: thanks, the value transacted for the hash block was Value when transacted
$26,954.51/ Total Input
0.63543199 BTC
17:03, Jan 6
You: That gives a value of 42,419 for the price of BTC during that time.
17:04, Jan 6
Larry: Please hold.
17:05, Jan 6
You: Gotcha, just writing out the notes. Once you transfer me =P
17:06, Jan 6
Larry: Sure, I understand, one moment please, I am looking into this.

17:07, Jan 6
You: $20000 withdrawal on a spot price value of on BTC of $42419 should be 0.47148683373, But I was sent 0.4327529 BTC
17:07, Jan 6
You: A value of 0.03873393373 BTC is still short.
17:08, Jan 6
Larry: Thank you for holding.
17:09, Jan 6
Larry: I was checking with my supervisors, the amount sent was correct. The value of bitcoin can vary throughout the day, and as such reflect a lesser value, but theamount sent was correct when it was sent.
17:09, Jan 6
You: Yes but this is base on the time it was sent.
17:10, Jan 6
You: So the value is base on your sending them.
17:11, Jan 6
You: Lets assume that the value of 0.4327529 that was sent is correct.
17:11, Jan 6
You: The price of BTC had to be $46215
17:12, Jan 6
Larry: One moment please, I am checking.
17:12, Jan 6
You: The price of BTC never was around that price during that period of 8:45am-11:15am
17:13, Jan 6
You: There is a chance someone behind trying to steal some of Bookmakers bitcoin.
17:14, Jan 6
Larry: Thank you for your patience.
17:16, Jan 6
Larry: The amount sent at the time was correct. There seems to have been a big drop off in the value of BTC today but we are not responsible, as you can read in thehelp center here:

Larry:
Bitcoin/Crypto conversion rates – BookMaker
17:16, Jan 6
You: I know there is, but when I requested the money, it has pass the point of drop off.
17:17, Jan 6
You: Tell me what time did you guys send the money. We can both check on line right now
17:17, Jan 6
You: I have the transaction at 11:08 on a public bitcoin ledger.
17:18, Jan 6
You: Which sets the price that was sent at 42419

17:18, Jan 6
You: But the amount I recieved with have set the price at 46215 base on the bitcoin that was given.
17:18, Jan 6
Larry: Please hold.
17:19, Jan 6
You: Thanks, I mean all this is public information we can access right now online.
17:21, Jan 6

17:22, Jan 6
You: Take your time, I am sure your manager or you need to verify all the numbers I am giving you online.
17:22, Jan 6

17:26, Jan 6
Larry: My apologies for the slight delay. I will be with you shortly.
17:26, Jan 6
You: Take your time, took me like 45 min to figure out all this =P
17:28, Jan 6
Larry: Again, thank you for your patience, the payout was pre approved at 8:46 am Pacific time.
17:28, Jan 6
You: Yes
17:28, Jan 6
You: And the price of BTC was no where near $46K
17:29, Jan 6
You: Lets go on google or any platform you like to check what was the price of BTC during that time
17:31, Jan 6
You: 8:46 pst to utc is 4:46 UTC time
17:31, Jan 6
You:

17:32, Jan 6
You: I got it at 42848
17:32, Jan 6
You: $20000/42848 would be 0.46676624346
17:33, Jan 6
Larry: One moment please.
17:34, Jan 6
You: Thanks. The UTC time is in PM. Or 16:46 UTC
17:37, Jan 6
Larry: My apologies for the slight delay. I will be with you shortly.
17:38, Jan 6
You: I think I figure out the problem!
17:38, Jan 6
You: They sent the amount base on yesterdays time!
17:39, Jan 6
You: So whoever made the transaction was basing it on 1/5/2022 16:46 UTC time
17:40, Jan 6
You: The BTC was priced at $46,671 which would have matched the amount sent of 0.43XXX coins. But he/she was suppose to be using todays time 1/6/2022
17:42, Jan 6
Larry: Thank you for your patience.
17:42, Jan 6
Larry: Please be aware that BookMaker makes every effort to process Bitcoin/Crypto withdrawals as quickly as possible.
The amount you will receive is alwayscalculated using the conversion rate at the time the withdrawal is pre-approved.
In the event there is a difference in the conversion rate at the time of request versus thetime of pre-approval, BookMaker is not responsible for a change in price if that difference is in BookMaker's favor.
Conversely, you would receive the higher spot rateif the difference was in your favor.
17:43, Jan 6
Larry: That i the information we have on our site when it comes to crypto withdrawals.
17:43, Jan 6
You: Yes, I know that information.
17:43, Jan 6
You: But I know where the guy made the error on.
17:43, Jan 6
Larry: If the amount were to vary, if there is a change in price, we are not resonsible.
17:44, Jan 6
You: I know you are not resposible. But again, there was at no point in time where you sent the money, it was at $46K

17:44, Jan 6
You: I am sure you looked at the pricing charts and I did.
17:44, Jan 6
You: You know the time of when the money was went, so you are able to find how much the price of BTC was when it was sent.
17:45, Jan 6
You: Just go look, if you haven'nt done so, "Again, thank you for your patience, the payout was pre approved at 8:46 am Pacific time" What was the price of bitcoinduring that transaction time?
17:46, Jan 6
You: Sorry if I sound condescending, but tell me what price do you see on any platform of Bitcoin at that price.
17:50, Jan 6

You: The thing is if it was a systematic error, the system used the wrong date. You guys might have over credit a lot of players on their deposits too.
18:00, Jan 6
You: So it might not just be a payout mistake, but the whole system used the wrong day.
18:00, Jan 6
Larry: Please include any screenshots you have regarding this matter.
18:01, Jan 6
You: Sounds good! I am sure we will eventually get to the bottom of it. Since I kind of know where they made the mistake now.

One thing I would note is that it's highly unlikely that Bookmaker is purposely trying to "scam" you, so I think the thread title is unnecessarily scary. They have a history of being very accurate with player bitcoin payouts. But all sportsbooks / humans are prone to making mistakes. This is probably one of them.

Yes, when you have a bitcoin dispute, it's often very frustrating, especially if you are dealing with the front line customer service. They are trained to push back and blame it on things like fees and normal bitcoin price fluctuation, probably because 95% of the time, that's what is behind the difference and the player is wrong. When you're part of that 5% who knows you're correct, you need to somehow get it escalated to someone who knows what they're talking about, can actually look at the problem and make a determination. In the past, I've been transferred to their bitcoin department, and they've credited my account while on the phone.

Best of luck!

I totally agree, they highly unlikely trying to scam me (the title probably much more a knee jerk reaction.) Not for $50K and certainly not for $1K. I already been though the crypto department and they still haven't credit me back the difference.

I already ask them multiple time, what price did they see at the time of transfer. Because that is all public information. But they rather not answer. I really don't know why they do that. If you are wrong just say you are wrong. Why fight it? Already sent them an email and file a complaint, so hopefully I stop getting stonewalled.

But I should be upset, because that $1Kish is now less than 100% I am getting it back.

No, I figured what they did wrong. They used the wrong date. 1/05 instead of 1/06. Because the value they sent is at $46K not at 43K. And they couldn’t have said they sent it and it went down because on 1/06 it traded between $42-43K.

I wonder did they credit all deposit at $46K. That would be funny. You make $1K deposit and get $1070!

Luckily my cashout is for $1k, yours is absolutely terrible. This cannot be acceptable and hope you get yours.

The thing is they payout so fast, they cant really say it dropped 10% in 3 hours.

We can all check the rate of bitcoin when we request it/ receive and these types of drops arent possible.

Good luck, Ill be looking to use other methods if Im lucky enough to cash out.

Guess Ill use my betpoints to make up for this. Thats the only way I can look at this and not feel completely robbed.

I can confirm this is exactly what they did. I deposited 5k yesterday and they had me send them about 34 LTC. I went to buy the LTC and it only cost about $4,400. I sent it to them and they credited my account the full 5k. I got an extra $600.
Clearly their conversion rate system has stalled and is stuck on prices from a couple days ago.

This is a new level of past posting lol! And no fault to you. I wonder would they adjust the balance that worked in our favor? Probably not worth 5-7% to get customers super angry.

It is better that it seems like a systematic problem and it isn’t just 1-2 cases of one offs.

I don't think they'll remove the $600 but I wont be mad if they do.
Sounds like this has been going on for a couple days. That means they have 1000's of transactions to fix. How many crypto withdrawals does BM process a day? A lot...

That is going to be some huge numbers. They a volume book, so I won’t be surprise people dropping in $50K deposit.
They actually lucky this is a slow week. No TNF, and bowl games only have 2 games.

This has been fixed. I just started a deposit to see what would happen. Said I wanted to deposit $10,000, and they asked for 0.23708137 BTC ($10,001.37).
