What's kinda funny to me he has done shit last few years before this 1. Why so good this season? Big Papi had a great final season too.still both great hitters regardless if they occasionally enhanced with substances.

Both Pujlos & Papi had great final seasons because they were being pitched to. Ortiz, statistics speaking, had his best year at 40, his final year.

But make no mistake, MLB puts the word out.... pitch to these guys because 100s of thousands of fans are coming to see Ortiz, Albert, Jeter, etc in the last hurrah!

Bonds also had a phenomenal final year, but no one (except me) was traveling to watch him play... so his stats were in line w career & prior years.

Pujols is one of the major power hitters from the Steroid eras to escape relatively clean. I always wondered though and doubted he was roid-free during his career.

If I remember correctly his name was linked to Mitchell report before it came out but never mentioned in it like so many high-profile names??

Anyway my feeling is if I obtained the ball I would probably turn it over. At least it used to be my thinking.:hellno:Now I believe you have to be out of your mind to turn it over. This is like hitting the lottery... probably one chance in a lifetime.
The player has the option to purchase or to purchase from whomever I see it to. I'm sure the could afford it. I would give Pujols first dibs on it cuz I'm a nice guy.:goodvibes

Ok here's a question for you all. Would you turn over no. 699 or 700 if you were the one who caught it? Pujols stated himself he didn't have a problem with it if the fan wanted to keep it.
I’d sell it for sure. I’m not broke by any means but these guys have millions for playing a game. They would need to share the wealth so I could have some f*** off money.

Those guys that give items such as this back to the athlete are idiots. Like the Brady “retirement” final TD ball, etc
