She added: “I don’t call them aliens and I don’t know what these things are that they’re using… When it’s declassified, I will have a press conference and I’ll show you exactly what we saw.”

Justice Clarence Thomas Drops a BOMB on Racial Gerrymandering
In a powerhouse concurrence to today’s 6-3 SCOTUS win striking down race-based map-drawing, Thomas says the majority didn’t go far enough.
“Today’s decision should largely put an end to this ‘disastrous misadventure’ in voting-rights jurisprudence.”
He’s been saying it for 30+ years: Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act does NOT regulate how states draw district lines at all.
The text is clear — it bans voting qualifications, prerequisites, or standards/practices/procedures that deny or abridge the right to vote based on race. Drawing district maps? That’s none of those things.
Bottom line: No more §2 challenges to districting should ever succeed.
Race has no business being the main ingredient in redistricting. America is one nation — not a collection of racial fiefdoms. Color-blind Constitution wins again.
