Multiple people shot inside a Chick-fil-A at 2319 US-22 Route 22 in Union, New Jersey, just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

The father of one of the workers said that his son called him in a panic, saying that multiple suspects wearing masks entered the establishment. He also said several of his co-workers were injured in a shooting.

The father says he drove to the eatery and described what he called a 'warzone'.

A Lyft driver said he was finishing a trip nearby and heard more than seven shots.

It is unclear how many people were shot and what their conditions are.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown and part of an active investigation.
