I started playing when I was about 10. In high school we’d play all spring and summer until we hit football season late summer and fall. I was probably about a 9 handicap at my best.

Since I hit 40 a lot of my old sports injuries caught up with me. Had a rotator cuff I should have had surgery on ages ago get pretty bad. Also a knee mcl. Had surgery on both and it helped but can’t swing/make impact without it hurting.

Basically I go back, my weight displacement goes back and I stay there. All my weight’s on the right. I push everything off to the right. I quit the game.

Yeah outsiders that don’t know the game of golf have no idea how golf can be difficult to play if you have ailing injuries. I suffer from lower lumbar herniated discs, that prevent me from playing more than I want to. My lowest handicap was probably a 12-13 in my mid 20’s. I play a few times a year now with my pop & his friends we have fun out there.

Yes I stayed away from LIV golfers with the exception of Brooks in my DK lineups and even then I barely played him. I think they will struggle here because this is going to be tougher than they're used to.
