look like this may cash the afternoon ticket
Any specific reasons to why this could potentially cash besides the fact it was steamed ?look like this may cash the afternoon ticket

Yeah I just saw some numbers that support that. At home not so much this year.Blackburn is a road warrior as a dog.
Great data Tanko.Oakland ML is on my card today.
As PiMike mentioned Blackburn is better on the road. Besides, how can you not bet against a pitcher with the last name Junk?
All the typical batting stats favor Oakland in this one (recent WRC+, OPS, Avg).
Relief pitching is roughly equal between these two.
Finally, here is another season stat:
LA Angles have the 2nd worst "Home Units" = -14 units YTD at Home
Oakland has the 8th best "Visitor Units" = +4 units YTD as Visitor
The delta is +18 units for Oakland. The biggest delta, by far, for any game on the schedule today.
Interesting POV by Biggins. With Frankie Montas being shipped off to the New York Yankees, Paul Blackburn (42%) is one of the arms the Oakland A's will rely on to help lead their staff. That said, the 28-year-old right-hander has been brutal lately, delivering an 8.05 ERA over his last seven starts. In those seven outings, he's been hammered for five or more runs on four occasions. Even against the Angels' Mike Trout-less offense, exercise caution if you're considering Blackburn as a streaming option on Thursday.

This J. Junk guy had the one start against the Royals, 5 IP... It looks like they are "easing" him into MLB by giving him starts against the teams that are in the bottom third in league batting average. Which is good for the kid but we really don't have a read on his ability against MLB hitters yet.Just copy and paste for information purposes only.
Can’t find much on the Junk guy at least nothing pertaining any superior stats worth noting. Though he did pitch four good innings after being called up for the second time this season.
