What are you guys going to do this year on New Year’s Eve?

Seeing as I’m an Uber and Lyft driver here in Las Vegas I will definitely be working that night. Probably start around 6 PM and finish up around four or five in the morning. It should be a crazy busy night especially with it falling on a Friday.

Whatever you plan on doing that evening stay safe!

I usually volunteer to work NYE each year so my co-workers can go out and besides it pays bank working holidays. This year off so will be a family night. I hope your tips are great that night. Who are your best tippers? Strip club visitors?? Those going to regular clubs?? Regular degenerate gamblers?

Well I enjoy when people go to the strip clubs because the strip clubs pay me money to drop people off. Usually $20-$50 per person.

Usually best tippers are the ones that take the Premier rides. They are paying a little more for the car and usually tip better

Nothing special for me on NYE. All I want to see and wait is the date update on my phone from 2021 to 2022 (I always do this every year).

But if I am with my family for sure we will be making a lot of noise (we usually use pot covers to do this lol) to drive away all the bad luck haha.

I found out the hard way that most personal car insurance Excludes coverage for "ride-sharing"(Uber, Lyft). I got hit by a Uber driver and the driver's coverage would not pay as it was excluded in his policy language. You have to notify your carrier to add "ride share" coverage for a fee in most cases if your going to drive Uber/Lyft.

That sucks. I’m sorry that happened to you, he must’ve not been on a trip. If you’re on an Uber or Lyft trip you’re automatically covered by their policy
