Nuggets fire coach Mike Malone

I just read the reason they did it is because Malone played veterans and management namely Booth who also got fired wanted him to play the rookies more. Instead Malone gave those minutes to guys like Russell Westbrook whom he felt gave them a better chance to win. So Malone ended up getting the axe along with Booth because the coaching staff and management didn't see eye to eye and it created locker room tension. This at least is a valid reason but I have to say I agree with Malone's philosophy especially on a contender. Go with the guys who you feel give you the best chance to win now because you're built to win now.
Imagine the tension when they lost to Timberwolves which ruined Jokic's career night.
A Kings win here tonight secures a spot in the play in game. I think it gets them in at 9th.

Looks like he studied his answer well.

He did look a bit uncomfortable there. That little head scratch seemed like nerves.
