Lots of upsets this weekend with Ohio State, LSU, Clemson losing.

Likely CFP rankings after this weekend:
Georgia
Michigan
TCU
USC

Key Games this week
USC/Utah - Can USC avenge its only loss?
Georgia/LSU
TCU/K-State - Will TCU win vs K-state in the rematch?
Michigan/Purdue

Who wins these games and who makes the CFP?

I could see 1 maybe 2 upsets.
IMO most likely would happen in USC/Utah or TCU/K-State games.

If one of them loses, Ohio St is back in the mix.

If both lose, Ohio St. and Bama are back in the mix. It will be tight though with Bama having two losses. Would the committee drop TCU with one loss below 2 loss Bama?

Regardless of the top 4 now, I like all chalk to win straight up & for these teams to advance. Might do a parlay to make it worth my wild.

If USC or TCU loses, Ohio State gets in. I guess maybe it’s a debate if only TCU loses between them and Ohio State, but the committee would much rather have Ohio State in there you’d think

If USC and TCU both lose, then the debate is between TCU and Alabama I think. I think TCU could get nod

Georgia and Michigan are safe, but they ain’t losing lol

Something to consider

Committee has had to decide between 2-loss conference champ and 1-loss non champ multiple times. They've gone with the 1-loss team each time, which has proven to be the right choice.

I have a hard time thinking they'd let Alabama in, in really any scenario, the more I think about it. Unless they somehow put them ahead of Ohio State on Tuesday at #5.

Now if this was about who the best 4 teams are.....

Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama

I could easily see them overlooking TCU with 1 loss. Why?
  1. TCU loss would be to a decent K-state team (#13) but Alabama's losses were to better teams #6 Tennessee and #10 LSU.
  2. more importantly - RATINGS FOR THE CFP. Bama is the draw for viewers.

If they did pick Bama over TCU, there would be a huge uproar about impartiality.

But, like you said, Georgia and Mich will be in. Between TCU/USC, if one loses Ohio St is in. If both lose, Ohio St. is in and it's a committee discussion on 1-loss TCU or 2-loss Bama.

Problem with Alabama is they don't have many good wins, and have looked pretty shaky in some of their wins even

The losses aren't quite as good as they once were. Tennessee and LSU both good, not great teams

If Alabama and TCU played? Would take Bama. But TCU probably is going to have the better resume no matter what happens on Saturday
