A rare planet parade is coming up. Here's what makes it so special

February will end the month not with an extra day but with an extra special celestial event.

A planet parade which will feature six planets in a diagonal direction across the western sky, an hour after sunset. Four of the planets — Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn — will be bright enough to see with the naked eye.

The last time a big planetary parade occurred was this past year, around the same time. Last year however, seven planets aligned, which won't happen again until 2040.
