The strait of hormuz is being blocked by Iran.
Many key US allies depend on getting their oil shipments through that strait. Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.
If things don't change soon, and by change, I mean if this war doesn't end soon, then nothing will matter anymore.
One quarter of the world's oil passes through the strait of hormuz. One quarter. At a certain point, the price of oil will be essentially unsustainable.
What does that do to the petro dollar?
Our allies would suddenly shift their alliances with us and start being open to China and Russia.
Because if they kept things the same with us, they would never have the opportunity to have even a normal economy.
Once the petro dollar ends, that is the end of the United States as a global power. Guaranteed.
Consider....the main hub of US operations against Iran was destroyedby Iran a few days ago.
Israel is getting hammered on a daily basis and they can't stop it. The US failed to protect their middle east allies.
They are, right now, having internal discussions, on whether to keep their alliance with US after this war is over.
Translation...They are not ever again going to allow the US to build bases there and once they're gone, as many are now, that's it. The US is out of the Middle East for good.
Also, they are discussing current economic agreements made with the Trump administration. Remember Trump bragging about the $18 Trillion in mew investments coming into the US?
Most of that was Middle East money.
They are now seeking ways to get out of those agreements.
This war so far has been nothing positive for the US and everything negative.
We need to end it now.
President Trump can you hear me, sir?
