The books dispute hotline ?!? How many books have a hotline for when they screw up - and why are they screwing up so much they need a hotline ?

Again - I get a book saying “don’t say anything public” while we review - but at 7 weeks and upon notice of a 3rd party service intervention - I’d say they have spoken as to their willingness to investigate and make it right.

Obviously there does need to be some investigation and there may be differences in viewpoints here - but doesn’t seem that the book is open to resolve - and unfortunately that’s one of the downsides to offshore. Short of a regulatory authority - no one can make a book do anything.
yeah I agree...maybe I should just release their name. they call it their dispute resolution office and also their customer service department had a number i could call, except they never picked up.

I've had similar situations happen at Bovada, BetUS, & MyBookie. But for a point or so movement that's only happened with Bovada for me. If this is a Bovada issue, I wish you luck because they'll give you the run around. I've had bets cancelled and even changed after a game has started there among other things, so it wouldn't surprise me. But yeah, if they are threatening you not to release the name...I'd shame them and make it public if nothing else is working.

Of the 3 - BetUS is the only 1 I’d trust to do the right think today.

MyBookie there are plenty of stories on - honestly some are false I am sure and just people taking advantage of previous bad reports.

Bovada I just don’t trust - never have. Pure rec book who feels anyone who wins is a “pro” or “shot taker”

The odd part about Bovada is they've paid out faster than any other book I've played on when I actually went to withdraw. BetUS is mostly ok, but they have some soft alt lines and will cancel bets sometimes and blame it on a line error.

I don't want to distract from the OP though. Its a bunch of BS and my least favorite part of offshore books in that they can do these kind of things and you don't have a lot of recourse.

Same, i have not had issues with bovada up this point (about 8 years) and they always paid out really quickly so i was really surprised this time. I read somewhere in another forum that they are starting to lose money and have been trying to find ways to make up their losses....wonder if this might be contributing to it, not sure if this is true.

Sorry, it's not funny. They have just robbed so many people in the last year it's ridiculous.
I didn't have a problem with them for years either. Then, in 2023 they locked me out of my account and stole my money.
I doubt they will change anything for you. Very shady book these days.

They also try to direct you to their 'Bovada Community' forums if you have a complaint. But if you post something they don't agree with, they just lock and delete the post. The whole point seems to make you run in circles until you give up without actually addressing anything. Hopefully filing a complaint through BMR will help get a real response.

And what issues have you experienced with TopWager365 ?

Dealt with them for several months - never a problem and paid reliably on request.

Bovada has been non responsive any time I even approached them about playing their again.

Nitrogen would be another I’d avoid - just no positive comments.

Betmania - it’s been a LONG time - nothing recently that bad - not sure I’d use them or not to be honest.

Betagame - never used/no opinion.

But just curious on Topwager365 - aside from a single complaint that was hyped up on another forum and found to be invalid - nothing negative out there to my knowledge.

In Bovada's argument back when I requested the payment, they even responded to me saying that they are a "recreational book" and that pros are allowed.

Like the fact that i bet on a line with good odds made me a "pro"? If you've ever seen my betting track record i'm the farthest thing from a pro lol

Yea - every books position - we don’t allow pro play.

Of course what’s “professional play” ? They can’t define it.

Non pros win money all the time - pros lose bets all the time.

It’s the level of action you’re placing that makes you a “pro”. When you offer limits in the hundreds and lines juiced 30-40 cents or more - it’s hard to believe any pro messes with you - unless your consistently dealing a number better than any big boy book (which is almost impossible to believe).

Books love to play the “pro” card - but unless they can show that you are deemed a professional player by others - or demonstrate your level/style of play is “professional” - it’s all a bluff on their part to get out of paying.

Even if they can prove you're a "pro", whatever that means, it's no excuse. They will happily allow a pro to deposit and lose month after month -- it's when the pro wins that they have a problem.

Classic freeroll.

yeah agree. and my point is, first of all i suck at betting and im not a pro. second, I'm questinoing bovada why they've confiscated my money, and in their argument they tell me bovada's a rec book? how is that relevant and how does that help their argument
