Been a few days since I had a play on college hoops - but will have at least one todayZ

Illinois - 2.5 @ Ohio state

Illini are the play here - OSU is in must win territory - they need this to build credibility for NCAA tourney. I don’t see it happening for them. Illini are getting things going and should beat OSU by 6 at least.

Got my eye on a few others - but Illini win here.

I got it at -3 earlier this morning.
I also see Illinois as a much better team than Ohio St.

Ohio St. hasn't played well since they beat Rutgers Jan 3rd. Their 5 losses since then have all been by wide margins and their lone win was vs a not so great Penn St. team at home. They continue to trend down in KenPom while Illinois is still hanging around #10 on KenPom list since late Dec.

South Carolina Gamecocks getting 14.5 points today and they are 7-1 ATS getting points this year seems suspicious.

Exactly - TN is the better team and at home - but near 15 points is ALOT.

Tenn plays a slightly more uptempo game - but nothing that should suggest that it supports double digit spread.

Might be worth looking into some more. Thanks

Dayton -14 at home is another home team who looks over priced vs a good George Washington team.

Why lay so many points / Dayton should win / but I suspect it will be closer than 14. Home team will just be protecting a lead and road team trying to close the gap in time.

A lot of recent home team failure to preserve the cover last weekend - looks like trend may continue.

UNC on the road -9.5 vs Georgia Tech is another play for me tonight.

UNC averages 10 more ppg - is 5-0 on the road and GT is not going to be able to keep up in this game. Unless they manage to slow down Tarheels significantly - it could get ugly.

ACC is simply now a league of have and have nots - and GT is a have not. Unlike leagues like the Big 10 - there are realistically only a few teams capable of winning the ACC and UNC is one of them.

No. Its Duke vs UNC and at home. They will be focused.
This is likely the biggest game of the year, every year for these teams. Massive rivalry.

Duke/UNC is of course THE rivalry for NC hoops- both want to beat each other - and then you have Wake and NC State just hoping to beat one or the other to get a little damn respect.

UNC on paper is a better team - that said, don’t put it past Duke to pull an upset here. Records/stats go out the door in these games. These are the games that keep coaches employed or cost them contracts - guaranteed they will have their respective teams ready no matter what happened the last few games.

I hate betting rivalry game due to this uncertainty. These games are always close.
I may dabble on Duke if I get +6ish pts. This game will be a tight one IMO.
