As a Golden State fan I have no confidence in them winning this game against the Clippers nor do I think I really want them to win. If they win and somehow win the next one against Phoenix they're just going to get swept by OKC. Plus they won't keep their lottery pick if they win so just this one time I hope the Clippers win.

I'd bet on Kawhi before I'd bet on Steph just because of Steph's minutes being a question mark but I think it's very possible both could go over because I see this being a higher scoring game and it's still Steph so if he gets 30 minutes tonight that should be sufficient for him to go over that number. I think Kawhi for sure can get 30 because he's been playing tremendous since they traded Harden so that's why I feel confident playing him if you're going to play a prop tonight.

I like your takes on each guy. I was thinking of maybe lowering each guy’s total a bit (alt lines) and parlaying them. On DK you can get Kawhi at 25+(-285) and Steph at 25+(-155) - that pays +110

Not sure I'd do that but I don't play alt lines and I wouldn't parlay them because I'm not sure it's worth it. That's just me though so if you think that's a good play I say go for it.

I actually put this in earlier in the day for shits n’ giggles. I’m a light gambler now. I learned my lesson the hard way back in the day with out of control gambling. Now I look at it as more recreational and a form of entertainment. I can have a stake in the games and if I lose I can still sleep well at night 🤣. I don’t need to wake up the next morning and have to go to work pissed off about the money I lost last night that I really couldn’t afford to lose. And I’ve actually fared decently over the past year or so with alt line parlays.

You and I have similar styles. When I first started betting I bet $50 a game not really knowing what I was doing and I didn't like the feeling I got when I lost so ever since learning that the hard way I switched to $5-10 a game and have a much healthier attitude towards gambling which I'm only doing for fun and not to get rich. It keeps me invested in the game when I have skin in it and I can sleep at night knowing I didn't lose money I couldn't afford to lose.

Good deal Lonnie. You sound like a similar situation to me back many years ago. I like playing alt-lines too in a parlay deal. Usually buy the points. sometimes use ML's. Have had ok success with that strategy. As you know I have the contest going with JDS and Sam so off the books for now with the NBA. May play a bit Later in the tournament. Get em

Exactly, man. That’s how it should be. Once this stuff starts getting out of control - ruining your overall mood and outlook on life you need to make adjustments and do things differently. Sounds like you’ve made the correct adjustments. GL with your wagering. :an_clap:
