Look up Bird's career field goal percentage vs Curry.
I’m just messing with you. You don’t have to sell me on Bird.

See my above post. People that don’t have him in the argument of top forward of all time never saw him play or never saw extended highlights. His only curse was he didn’t have career longevity because of the way he played the game. His body broke down on him. Won three MVPs in a row. Only Russell and Wilt did that.

The game changed with modern analytics. Everybody wants to shoot threes now and you should only shoot mid range shots as a last resort on offense when it's late in the shot clock. Guys today are told the only good shots available are threes and lay ups. That's why the Celtics of today take 60 threes a game and people hate watching that style of play. I honestly love watching good shooters shoot but sometimes I guess it can be boring and repetitive to watch teams shoot 60 threes a game because the analytics tells them they're getting good shots on offense.

Last night, nobody knows why Leonard didn’t play. He was totally rested. The NBA is in massive trouble. Even the commissioner fed up sending investigators to see if guys are really injured.
It's all their own fault.

They're the ones who decided to let the patients run the asylum.

A 20 point lead in the NBA has been meaningless for many years now.

It's the nature of the beast.

Bettors need to adapt.

Look at it this way, the opportunity to LIVE trade is there.

Kwahi Leonard is the most well-rested man in America.

I remember being so pissed at him for doing the Spurs like he did, thinking he’d be the transition and centerpiece to the rebuild after Tim, Manu and Parker retired. Now I’m so glad they were able to get rid of him and were spared all the hassle and drama of the past decade.

The 80's truly was a golden age of NBA basketball. Back then I grew up watching it because Kentucky was on probation so I didn't watch the college game too often. That was ok because the NBA was entertaining back then and games were more affordable so my dad took me to 5-6 Warriors games a year. I was lucky enough to see Magic in person as well as many of the all time greats from the 80's. Never got to see Bird in person which is my only regret because he was my favorite player from that era but it was always tough to get Celtics/Warriors tickets because the Celtics only came into town once a year and it was always sold out months in advance for that game.

Am I the only one who is bothered by teams taking 2 time outs each in the last minute in close games.

They need to cut it down. Maybe after the first one, no more strategizing just move up and play?

I realize you cant do nothing about them "hoarding" their tos till the end, but we dont need to stand around after every possession.
