This game opened with Michigan being I believe -1.5 but now they are a +2.5. Still no coach Howard thankfully. Michigan has looked surprisingly better than what I expected. Their PG Mcdaniels has looked really good in his first two games this season and so has their transfer center NKAMHOUA. TSCHETTER has been solid and hasn’t missed from 3. Williams has looked much better than last year and if he can continue to shoot well it will really help the team. Reed continues to get better. I really think this team can make the tournament if they had another guard and they got a guy injured coming back who could add that could be that help. I haven’t seen St John’s but I’m going to watch them if they’ve had a game on tv.

Small play on Michigan 1H (+1.5 - 115 @ DK) for me just for action. Their transfer from TN (the dude from Finland) vs Soriano is the big match-up, I think he will be able to slow him down some. And their little point guard McDaniel is capable vs that press. Don't trust full game play though with game being in MSG. They always get the calls late in the Garden.

FYI: Something I haven't seen mentioned:

*St John's did lose an exhibition game (in Pitino's debut) against Div 2 school Pace.

Take that FWIW. Pitino's team was trying. Ricky was complimentary of the effort that Pace gave to beat the Redmen.
