Tank I used to go to Manor Downs with a buddy to play the ponies Friday night in college. Sometimes we’d get passes to the Turf Club, a nice bar to get out of the heat. You could bet on Manor or simulcast there.

A lot of the trainers/owners hung out there. a bartender there pointed a guy out who was a Hispanic trainer. Looked the part of a Mexican National cowboy. She told me he hit the Texas lottery as one of its first winners for $3 million.

he was in there literally every time we went. I finally went up and asked him if he really won the lottery. Just nodded up and down. So I guess I met a lottery winner once
