Did he not hear of the Las Vegas Raiders player driving drunk charged with vehicle killer manslaughter how could that not resonate.
He’s always been a not to bright the Bills gave him to Seahawks for a song just to get the idiot out. Had his problems at Berkeley and the not talking to the press thing.

Om always torn on the DUI stuff.

It makes 0 sense in Vegas, everything is within 5 miles & there's 100,000 Ubers.

But the rural DUI arrests, I read about them up here....deputies wait in a parking lot, pick out one poor bastard, follow him until he does 40 in a 35 or something petty, then wreck his life.

If you're not swerving, if you're not tearing up the roads, if you're not running stop lights, then I'm not a fan of the MIckey Mouse tactics used to generate a pull over. There is no way to pass a field sobriety test, the breathalyzer used in the street are off by 40% often....and .08 for a 250 lb guy is going to be a lot different than .08 for a 110 lb girl.

Frankly, it should be .12, as it was a generation ago. DUI law is nothing more than a cottage industry for lawyers these days. There is no other circumstance where you don't even interact w a 3rd party, or cause any harm to a person, place or thing, where you get a gross misdemeanor. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Yes

So this is an example of my many issues w DUI law.

If you even have the keys on you it's a charge. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Cite him for any damage he may have caused, but if a dude is just sleeping in his car, then I'm sorry, that's not a gross misdemeanor.
biggins pointed out that the car was not drivable, a wheel was off. so he prob was indeed drinking, hit somethin and was sleepin it off
