There is a lot of overreaction to some of the teams missing key guys. Caleb Williams is a great player but he didnt have a great season and USC has 5* recruits all over the offense. Its pretty clear this Miller kid would be starting on many teams.

That's the thing about these powerhouse schools like USC. They have second and third stringers that were former 4 and 5 star recruits. It's why they're good every single season because they don't lose much when their stars leave.

yeah but USC D is garbage. UL had a decent D this year albeit not playing the Offenses USC was.

UL defense was great vs the run. Their pass defense was not that good and like you said they didnt face sophisticated passing attacks like USC
