Used to read Frank DeFord in The National during classTypical GOLDI(non)LOCKS wildly odd off on the odds. Starting tracking him when I saw 300-1 on here but obv he was even higher in most places. JJ must be getting his lines from The National.

Fond memories of buying it everyday during March Madness in 1991 on a family vacation to California/Las Vegas. Was overjoyed watching Duke upset UNLV in a Vegas casino that day after Hunt missed the 3 at the end. Lot of pissed off bettors that very second. Pretty sure I became a full fledged degen at that very moment.Used to read Frank DeFord in The National during class
We loved that paper. It was such a novelty compared to what was offered before. Such a great concept for its timeFond memories of buying it everyday during March Madness in 1991 on a family vacation to California/Las Vegas. Surprised it didn't have a longer run considering the internet didn't even exist back then. What's crazy is the Daily News in NY is still alive & kicking at $3.50/issue..wouldn't pay 25 cents for it.We loved that paper. It was such a novelty compared to what was offered before.
