Pretending to be religious is the same as being a hypocrite to yourself.

This is true actually. I've known a woman (RIP) before who always goes to church every Sunday, religiously, with the Bible and rosary in her hands and kneeling going to the altar. But once she's home you will hear her screaming and always having trouble with her housemaids, she's a real-life hypocrite.

Not all people who go to church are good and not all who don't go to church are bad.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but before in PH, during Holy Thursday and Friday to Saturday no regular shows on all televisions and radios from morning to night, they only air all stuff related to prayers and God-related shows/movies.
