I think you’re probably right about that, but same could be said for Nuggets a couple years ago.
Yeah they weren't quite ready yet though. Not really chokers, just newer to the scene plus you had Warriors dynasty fizzling out still

They were injured the 2022 season when Golden State won

The players on this Clippers team have long history of choking in several franchises

And Kawhi won't play if he has a broken nail

I agree with you for the most part, but nobody in the west is as good as say prime GS. Denver can be best. They are obviously the best team, but there is a possibility in a seven game series the Clipps could beat them.

Most likely we get a Boston Denver finals, but this isn’t as much of a lock as Cleveland GS were when they kept meeting.

The Lakers can’t beat Denver four out of five

Given they've lost 9 straight to them, including 4 this season and getting swept in the playoffs last year, and haven't beaten the Nuggets since December of 2022, you might be right.

Maybe the Nuggets take a night off this series, maybe give the Lakers a home game. Maybe even give them two.

But Nuggets are likely advancing this year, not the Lakers.

Would need epic consistent efforts from both Lebronda and AD, with no room for injuries or rest, along with solid play from the rest of the cast.

I stand by the thread title

The ball bounced Denver’s way when it mattered most

Pretty even series overall

Credit to the Nugs
I think Minnesota will give Denver a tougher time than the Lakers. They're young and hungry to prove they belong. I don't think they can pull it off because Denver presents matchup problems all over the place but Anthony Edwards is a stud and I think the Wolves get at least 2 games in this series which is more than the Lakers did in 2 years of playing the Nuggets in the playoffs.

thing is Minny has a much better bench than Denver. In addition how healthy is Murray and Pope? 7 game series IMO. See what happens.

Plus I think their elite defense will come into play in this series. They really lock you up which is why they swept Phoenix with ease. This will be a competitive series and I'm looking forward to it because I really think Denver is in for a tough battle even though I expect them to win because of their experience and the fact that it helps to have Jokic on your side.

Lakers led something like 75% of the series or something crazy like that

Pretty close teams. Denver had depth to and clutchness to get it done

That is true the Lakers were up at halftime every game but they couldn't finish the deal. I think Minnesota will be able to close out games better than the Lakers because their defense is so good. I wouldn't go so far as to say Denver is in trouble but I see this series going 6 or even 7 games because Minnesota is better than people realize.
