I believe this mandate is unfair, and I'll tell you why
You can put 200+ people in a Plane with just Masks, no need to be vaccinated
and you are stuck in a "Tube" for 3-6+ hours, but you can't be in a large open arena.
I would feel safer in the arena, and if I didn't, I can walk away. Where can you walk on a Plane??
Does the league claim that being vaccinated makes players less likely to catch or transmit the virus?
If so, by how much?
I don't think the difference is significant enough to be claiming it needs to be done for other people's safety.
I'm either mis-informed about the risks posed by un-vaccinated people, or very very confused about why this conversation is happening at all.
I'm on board with the idea that we need a high rate of vaccinated people to help ensure the hospital system can cope, but as long as enough people agree to having it, which appears to be happening, I don't care if some people want to choose not to.
Has Kyrie explained to KD why he hasn't gotten the vaccine? KD: "I haven't even asked for an explanation. It ain't my place I don't think. So I'm ready for whatever, that's been my whole mentality. Whatever happens in this situation, I got to still be me."
